FIRECHEM 6% Aqueous Film Forming Foam is an ultra high efficiency multi purpose alcohol resistant film forming foam. The film forming characteristics of FireChem AR - AFFF means that it spreads rapidly across a fire. As aresult, it is highly effective against hydrocarbon fires and with the addition of special polymers it is alsohighly effective against polar solvents. It is intended for use on hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, etc. and on polar solvent /water miscible fuels such as alcohols, ketones, esters, etc.
Product Description FireChem AFFF 6% is a highly reliable fire extinguishing agent designed for maximum safety in volatile environments. This concentrate produces a high-quality foam blanket that isolates flammable vapors and provides a rapid knockdown of hydrocarbon fires. Formulated with advanced fluorocarbon surfactants, it ensures the formation of a thin aqueous film that suppresses the fuel's ability to release ignitable vapors. It is particularly valued for its stability and effectiveness in large-scale industrial firefighting

FIRECHEM 3% Aqueous Film Forming Foam is superior quality aqueous film-forming foam which can be used at the specified concentration to extinguish fires of non – polar hydrocarbon fuels. This extinguishing agent is suitable for use with most types of proportioning and discharge equipment.FireChem AFFF foam concentrates are designed for rapid fire knockdown by producing a thin aqueous film which helps to prevent the release of fuel vapours. The foam blanket from which the film forming liquid drains separates oxygen from the fuel surface, extinguishes the fire and prevents re-ignition. FireChem AFFF provides excellent penetrating and wetting qualities when used on Class A fires also. The water content of the foam provides a cooling effect. The aqueous film is produced by the fluorocarbon surfactant reducing the surface tension of the foam solution to a point where the solution can be supported by the surface tension of the fuel. This is important when extinguishing deep-seated fires in wood, paper, rubber and other ordinary combustibles.
Product Description FireChem AFFF 3% provides a robust fire-fighting solution for professional emergency responders and industrial safety teams. This aqueous film-forming foam is optimized for use at a 3% concentration to combat non-polar hydrocarbon fuel fires. The technology relies on a specialized foam blanket that effectively separates oxygen from the fuel surface. Simultaneously, the water drained from the foam creates a cooling effect, which is critical for maintaining the integrity of the extinguished area and preventing the fuel from heating back up to its flashpoint.
Operational Performance
Proportioning Flexibility: Suitable for use with most types of proportioning and discharge equipment, including deluge or closed-head foam water sprinkler systems.
Wetting Capabilities: Beyond liquid fuels, it provides superior penetrating qualities for deep-seated Class A fires in ordinary combustibles like paper and rubber.
Cold Weather Reliability: If the product is inadvertently frozen, it can be thawed to become completely serviceable again without losing its original chemical characteristics.
Chemical Compatibility: It is suitable for use in conjunction with siliconised dry chemical extinguishing agents
